Over the last month we have been very fortunate to celebrate not 1, but 2 significant staff milestones. These came in the form of 20 and 30, yes 30! year anniversaries of employment for 2 of our technicians.

Over recent times, Protectahome has been involved in a number of remedial waterproofing projects that have involved failed Type C Cavity Drain Membrane Systems installed by others.During our investigations and subsequent remedial works, the issue of Free Lime in Type C Systems has become overtly apparent as a major cause of waterproofing failure. As such, we have decided to publish some of our findings and recommendations in light of these recent projects.

We have published a new case study detailing our Helifix Crack Stitching and Consolidation work at Plymouth Road, Penarth in South Wales.
The new visitor and watersports centres at Llandegfedd Reservoir have been highly commended by the RIBA Journal Magazine for the MacEwan Award.

This Autumn has been a very productive period for our Waterproofing Division with Cavity Drain Membrane Installations in particular making good progress across the UK.
