Summary:

Structural Waterproofing Operative

South Wales/South West – Travel involved.

Start ASAP – Permanent Full Time

Due to continued expansion, Protectahome are seeking to employ an experienced Structural Waterproofing Operative to join our successful Structural Waterproofing Division operating throughout England and Wales.

The successful candidate will be given the opportunity to earn a competitive salary whilst working for a long standing, family run company with a strong presence in the market and a history of staff training and development.

Description:

Duties will include installation of a large range of modern waterproofing systems and products including: Cavity Drain Membranes, External Membranes, Sumps and Pumps, Liquid Membranes, Primers and Cementitious Products. Practical knowledge and experience of at least some of these systems is essential for this role. Full training will be provided in any areas required.

Work will often include extensive travel throughout England and Wales and nights away from home. The ability to work away on a regular basis is paramount – applicants without this ability are highly unlikely to be considered. The employment package covers the cost of travel/accommodation/sustenance etc. The employment package will also include the use of a company service vehicle and work wear/PPE will also be provided. The role will potentially include work within other divisions of the company from time to time, full training will be provided for this if necessary.

The successful candidate will have experience of working in a similar role and hold a full UK drivers licence. CSCS card holders would be preferable.

Practical knowledge and experience of at least some of these systems is essential for this role. Practical knowledge specifically of Cintec and/or Helifix systems/products will be looked upon very favourably. Full training will be provided in any areas required.

Work will often include extensive travel throughout England and Wales and nights away from home. Structural Waterproofing/Preservation Surveyor
Midlands/North West
Permanent – Competitive Salary plus commission on invoiced sales.

Summary:
Due to continued expansion, Protectahome are seeking to employ an experienced Structural Waterproofing/Preservation Surveyor to operate in Midlands/North West.

The successful candidate will be given the opportunity to work for a long standing company with a strong existing foothold and reputation in the market.

Description:
Based from home, representing our offices in the region and reporting to head office in Newport, South Wales the successful candidate will be responsible for servicing and creating business enquiries from professionals and consumers.

The role will involve creating and maintaining your own client base so previous experience in a sales surveyor role is essential.

The successful candidate must be fully conversant with the requirements set out within both BS8102 and BS6576 and capable of creating a variety of designs/specifications for Basement Waterproofing and remedial treatment of Rising Damp, Wood Rotting Fungi and Wood Boring Insects.

Whilst training will be provided on an ongoing basis, this will be designed to build on an already extensive knowledge of the workings listed above. Relevant qualifications such as CSSW and CSRT status are highly preferable. Whilst not essential, candidates with experience of specifying/completing structural repairs using wlall ties, helical methods and/or socked anchors would be looked upon favourably.

Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, and strong attention to detail are prerequisite as is the ability to build and maintain a strong client base for repeat business.

The role will include access to a company vehicle and laptop to complete the necessary tasks. The successful candidate will be expected to travel potentially reasonable distances across the Midlands/North West to service enquiries. Summary:
Trainee Pest Control Technician
South East Wales
Permanent Full Time

Overview:
Protectahome are seeking to employ a trainee Pest Control technician to help service and maintain the company’s presence in the South Wales region.

The successful candidate will be tasked with assisting senior technicians to service the region for the BPCA accredited Pest Control division of the company.

Description:
Reporting to the Pest Control Coordinator at head office, duties will include servicing both domestic and commercial pest control enquiries across South Wales to both BPCA and company standards.

The successful candidate will ideally have some pest control knowledge already and an interest/willingness to learn and develop quickly.

Full driving licence, excellent communication and pride in ones own work is required.

A company vehicle, workwear and equipment will be provided as necessary.

Salary will be competitive with the potential to earn commission once fully trained. Protectahome are also committed to supporting the right candidate through their Level 2 qualification when appropriate.
