Welsh building services firm builds on 2012 success

A Magor-based building solutions company has bucked the construction industry’s recent downward trend by increasing turnover since the start of 2013.

Protectahome

Protectahome, which offers structural waterproofing, structural solutions, building preservation and pest control throughout the UK, showed an increase in company turnover of 26 percent to the end of April, compared to the same period in 2012.

Gary Briscoe, Managing Director of Protectahome, said: “The start of the year has been very positive for us and we’re keen to build on this momentum, driving business forward.

“The construction sector has been very unstable recently but one of the trends we are experiencing is that we are getting involved with new build projects at a much earlier stage which means we are having a positive impact at the design level.”

Established in 1980, Protectahome offers a wide range of building-related solutions, diagnosing problems, creating bespoke, targeted solutions and working with clients to get the best results. The company works with a wide variety of customers and has an extensive knowledge of working with all types of buildings and structures from ancient monuments to new build.

Protectahome is based in Magor but has offices UK-wide with regional bases in Plymouth, Bristol, Weston, London, Leamington Spa, Bromsgrove, Stockport, Cheltenham, Caldicot, Newport, Cardiff and Llanelli.
